When to Start Your Pet’s Care

It’s best to bring your puppy or kitten in for their first exam as soon as possible after adoption. Ideally, this should occur when they are between six and eight weeks old. Starting early allows us to monitor their growth and development, address any immediate concerns, and establish a routine vaccination and care schedule. If you’re unsure when to begin, our veterinary team is here to guide you based on your pet’s specific needs and circumstances.

Our Puppy and Kitten Packages Include:

Early Disease Prevention

Vaccinations protect your pet from serious illnesses like distemper, parvovirus, and feline leukemia, reducing the risk of life-threatening diseases early on.

Parasite Management

Deworming and fecal analysis address common parasites, safeguarding your pet’s digestive health and preventing the spread of zoonotic diseases to humans.

Baseline Health Monitoring

Routine exams establish a clear health baseline, allowing for early detection of abnormalities or developmental concerns that may require intervention.

Behavioral Guidance

Early visits allow pet owners to discuss training, socialization, and behavioral tips, promoting a well-adjusted and confident companion.
